KENYAN VOTE WISELY – 2007

CorruptionAs a matter of fact our forefathers in Kenya fought colonial in order to acquire the then grabbed white Highlands, freedom, employment, industries, Big Companies, hotels, etc, which were occupied by the whites. For fear of African rule, many whites ran away from Kenya before independence. Contrary, the African’s believe was not considered by the Government that took over independence. Instead, the run away whites were recalled back to their businesses and recontrolled this country’s economy till this day. Hence, Government after Government have never reconsidered or applied any particular system or methods to improve the situation, because rule after rule in Kenya has always been evolved among the neocolonialists who were loyal to British Government till this day.

Check from the list of our Governors since independence. You will bare me witness that although Kenya holds elections after every five years, many leaders, if not all, have been the colonial loyalists or their breed, especially from central Region. These people, although they are citizens, they are the masters of dubias monetary resources. Any attempt by the Kenyan Socialists to rule has been always christened an assassin or suicidal, irrespective of their objectives Again, you have surely witnessed the corrupt system of political parties nominations since the multiparty system was re-introduced to Kenyans. Truly, the nominations have been marked by irregularities and bribes whereby, the winners usually come from the candidates loyal to the running Presidential hopeful regardless of their education or abilities. This conduct has increasingly produced corruption, nepotism and the bad consummation of the constituency Development Fund money in the country by a few individuals. Therefore, Kenyans especially voters should know and understand that ambition is not a crime and every registered Kenyan voter has a right to vote, determine or solicit voters from all parts in Kenya, regardless of his/her tribe, race or religion. As you would want one to vote for you, likewise, the other person would also want your vote at election time. For sure you should further know that as long as Kenya remains a multiparty state, no one party tribe, race or religion shall remain in power for ever, baring in mind that whatever is created by votes shall be destroyed by votes and therefore, one should not discriminate the other Kenyan- the pride comes before a fall.

NB: Understandably, majority Kenyan voters elected the NARC party to the Government in the 2002 General Elections before the electorates had studied the aspiring candidates. Admittedly, the members elected to the National Assembly increased their basic salaries and allowances to the dismay of their voters and as a result, the government was defeated at constitutional referendum in the 2005. The same Government should have moved from office. Contrary the President mistakenly formed a Government of National Unity at his decree. This automatically suspended the reknowned Kenyan Constitution. Hence Kibaki ruled Kenya quietly without constitution as stipulated by law. Only the attorney General could question or advise the state, but he did not dare. Sincerely, how are Kenyans sure that if Kibaki is returned to power he would not repeat similar mistakes and many more?

Secondly, it is well known that the democratic system in Kenya is to elect a tricky rich person among the rich ( minority rich to rule majority poor). Nevertheless, Kenyans should also know that, a battle is won by solders and the General receives the award and praise, and this understanding causes the knowledgeable elders to be unwanted in the nation building committees sine die-no leader wants a true history of this country. Vote wisely my dear Kenyan. Avoid repeating mistake this time. Avoid horriganism but remember “CHAGUO in lako, lakini unastahili kunjua nilipi nafuu kati ya, (a) kula nyama iliyonuka (ODM) ama(b) kula nyama iliyotapikwa(PNU)?

Maskini ni mutumwa wa tajiri
Poverty is created by man, not by God.
